Planned Giving for Libraries

The Foundation encourages and accepts contributions to benefit public libraries in a variety of forms.  We are actively working to set up various planned giving instruments.  This page will be updated as new options are added.  Currently, we can accept gifts of cash, securities and bequests.

Contributions can be designated for the following purposes:

General unrestricted contributions benefit all member libraries.

Advocacy Fund contributions support community engagement and local funding initiatives for member libraries.

Early Literacy Fund contributions support children’s programs.

Technology Fund contributions support efforts to improve library technology services.

Individual Library Funds support specific public libraries.

To open an individual library fund the Foundation needs an initial contribution of at least $3,000.  Subsequent contributions to individual library funds can be any amount over $100.  A contribution of $50,000 or more enables the donor to set up a separate named fund for any valid Foundation purpose.

Thank you for supporting our public libraries!
